Thanks for making Christmas special
Christmas is such a special time at Nazareth House.
It's the birthday of the Child Jesus – and
hearing again the story of how He was born in a stable.
It’s our annual nativity play – with all the children wondering
who will be chosen to be an angel, or a
shepherd, or a King from the east. Even being
a sheep is important.
It’s anticipation and preparing – putting up
the Christmas trees, making
decorations, and then attaching them to the
branches, with everyone having a turn.
It’s the magic of Christmas Eve; the sound
of carols and the hope that there may be a gift to open in the morning.
And on the day, it’s dressing in
our best and going to mass. Then a
special lunch, and time to play with
the gift that did come with ‘my’ name on it.
But the most important thing about
Christmas at Nazareth House is knowing that
you care about us ... at Christmas time and all through the year.
Thank you for being part of
our family celebrations. We wish you and your loved ones every blessing for 2012.
