As most of the people we care for are the poorest of the poor, the destitute, the homeless and children without families of their own, Nazareth House is hugely appreciative of the compassionate assistance from individuals and companies who contribute financially and in other ways to meet the monthly funding requirements. Although Nazareth House does receive some subsidisation, this does not cover the ongoing costs, so these donations are essential to keep our doors open.
The major costs are our operating costs such as, electricity, water, food and staff salaries. Every person be it child or elderly, at Nazareth House needs 24/7 care, that’s why they are here. Staffing costs are over 50% of the budget and critical to being able to provide good quality care….more

One man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure! If you are cleaning out, think of us. Everything from second hand clothing, furniture, kitchenware to bric-a-brac is gratefully accepted at our charity shop – where it is sorted, priced and turned into cash to help fund our homes for the aged….more
