Adrian's gift of time

Two years ago Adrian gave up his life in the UK with the intention of travelling. And travel he did. But by the time he reached Cape Town he was looking for something more to do.

For some years he’d been thinking about volunteering in Africa and so he grasped the opportunity; and we were fortunate in that he chose Nazareth House – our St Michael’s hospice in particular.

Very quickly Adrian has become part of our ‘family’ and a very welcome ‘extra pair of hands’ – Adrian is giving us the precious gift of his time. And St Michael’s Hospice is the better for it.
